New York City’s Quin Hotel is located on the corner of 57th Street and 6th Avenue in the center of all that Midtown has to offer. With easy access to the masters on display at MoMA; music of Carnegie Hall; the performing arts of the Lincoln Center; the mecca of fashion on Fifth Avenue; and the splendor of Central Park, the Quin Hotel is quintessential New York.

This beaux arts building honors its heritage, while adding modern splendor to each of its stylishly appointed 208 guestrooms and suites. Renowned architecture and interior design firm Perkins Eastman created a contemporary environment on the classical foundation that once hosted some of the century’s greatest artists such as Georgia O’KeeffeMarc Chagall and Ignacy Jan Paderewski. The suites have separate living and dining areas and wrap-around terraces with views of 6th Avenue and/or Central Park. The 17th floor Terrace rooms and suites include the newly completed 3,400 square foot tri-plex Penthouse with 1,300 square feet of patio. The rooms were designed with hand-selected sustainable materials and luxury finishes. Sumptuous Sferra® Venetian Linens, handcrafted Swedish Dux® beds by Duxiana and Fresh® spa products make the stay relaxing and comfortable. All the conveniences are there with Nespresso machines, snack bars, flat-screen TVs and technology on iPads to manage the lighting, curtains and ordering services. In-room dining is available 24/7.

Hospitality is key. Wine is served daily at cocktail hour. Other amenities include a personal attaché who is a luxury lifestyle curator that tailors each “Q’rated” experience to meet specific requests. The attaché ensures that the each guest is communicated with in advance prior to arrival to meet their every need and provides insider access to New York’s offerings. These individualized experiences are crafted specifically for each guest.

There is an Executive Boardroom, a 24-hour state-of-the-art Technogym fitness center, and a drawing room off the lobby that’s equipped with Apple devices.

The two-story, 130-seat The Wayfarer, is a fine-dining American seafood grill with an elegant cocktail bar and a menu showcasing locally sourced ingredients and fresh regional seafood.

Doing itself justice to its artistic heritage, The Quin sets itself apart from other hotels with its unique arts program. Curated by DK Johnson, the arts program showcases global street artists and brings the community together through an ongoing series of culturally significant events, exhibitions, and performances, producing exciting new platforms for contemporary artists. The multi-media initiative extends to a substantial permanent collection, along with an artist-in-residence program and digital displays on the lobby’s 15-foot abstract video art wall.

The Quin does justice to its artistic inheritance while shaping a fresh framework for luxury hospitality.
