SANDALS LASOURCE GRENADA
With the stereotype of all-inclusive resorts being crowded and homogenized, with boring food, Sandals resort claims to be different.
At the adults-only Sandals La Source Grenada, they truly are.
THE RESORT
Sandals LaSource St. George’s Grenada was newly built and opened in November of 2013. Sprawled over 17 acres of land; the 225 rooms and suites have a collection of over 80 pools and spas, many in the suites. The resort is laid out in 3 separate villages, giving guests the option to be social or private. Those with the club or butler service, and their own pools, never have to leave the room. The décor is tastefully done. Since it is a couples resort, all rooms have king size beds. The technology is up-to-date, with key fobs, HD LED televisions, and outlets that suit plugs from different countries.
THE BATHROOMS
Spa-like and exquisite, the bathrooms are some of the prettiest out there. Even the public restrooms don’t miss a beat. The color theme is mostly soft aqua, blues and white, with subway tile and glass accents. Many have marble vanities with backlit mirrors; freestanding soaking tubs on the patio or in the room, frosted glass enclosed water closets, and large “made-for-two” walk-in showers. Some also include pebble enhanced walls and Italian porcelain plank floors.
THE FOOD
The luxury resort has “discovery” dining options with no up charge for that special meal. They include premium liquors and wines at all their bars & restaurants. With Sushi, Italian, French, Teppanyaki, and Steakhouse among their ten options, it’s hard to get bored.
THE PRODUCTS
Inspired by the aromas and elements of the Caribbean such as ginger, raw sugar cane, island coffee, and tropical fruits, the all-natural, sulfate-free Red Lane Products delight the senses while penetrating and protecting the skin and hair.
SPA TREATMENTS
Spa Treatments are one of the few add-ons here. The Red Lane Spa has Side-by-Side massages, unlike any other couples massages. They personalize the experience romantically with a ritualistic and touching ceremony at the beginning and end of the treatment.
NIGHTTIME
The setting is unbelievably romantic. Paradise. One of the most unusual and special things about Sandals La Source Grenada is hearing the indigenous frogs singing during the night.
