The 153 rooms and suites come with luxurious interiors made of high-quality materials combining classic elements with Nordic modern design. 59 of them were recently renovated from top to bottom last year, completing the renewal of all rooms over the past 8 years. Paying homage to the hotel’s story, the rooms have hand-picked art, which is consistent with the hotel’s vast Award-winning art collection.
DINING
Theatercafeen is a renowned Viennese-style restaurant and one of Oslo’s more popular places to eat and meet for over 100 years. Vaulted ceilings, teardrop lanterns, portraits of past and present habitués, writers, artists, actors and musicians adorn the walls and impeccable silver service sets the scene.
Restaurant Eik is their reasonably-priced restaurant, serving three, four, or five-course menu that changes weekly based on the best available products. The bar is a convivial alternative to the sit-down meal.
Bar Boman is a scene, with a stylish lounge for hotel guests and a vibrant bar for Oslo’s residents. The moniker originates from Caroline Boman, along with her husband Christian Hanse was the first-generation owners of Hotel Continental and Theatercafeen.
