For a classical heritage hotel experience in Copenhagen, stay at the 5-star d’Angleterre, an historic landmark hotel built in 1755, with a fairytale love story behind its founding. 263 years ago, a French servant named Jean Marchal fell in love with Marie Coppy, the daughter of the chef of the royal palace in Copenhagen. Their passion went beyond each other, and with her culinary talent and his penchant for serving the privileged, they started with a restaurant and later added a hotel located on Kongens Nytorv in the heart of Copenhagen.
ACCOMMODATION
The recently refurbished hotel inside the Victorian exterior has 37 rooms and 55 suites of contemporary simple Nordic design, all with spacious bathrooms, the latest technology and individually controlled climate systems.
