Hyatt Zilara Cancun is an adults-only oceanfront all-inclusive resort situated on the widest stretch of beach in the renowned Hotel Zone of Cancun.   The hotel was designed to reflect the beauty of the Caribbean Sea and the traditional Mayan culture of the area.    Its impressively tall atrium was built to accommodate acrobatics, which is one of the nightly shows staged for guests’ entertainment.

ROOMS

Each of the 307 rooms is an ocean front suite, with a double-jetted tub for two in the living room and a private terrace with chairs and a hammock, all of which make for a perfect setting for watching the sunset reflect off the ocean.  Showers are also sized for two, with a separate dressing area with its own sink, aside from the sink in the bath/shower room.  There are six categories of suites, one featuring swim-up pools.  Bathrobes and slippers are provided, with free Wi-Fi and a stocked mini-bar with water, beer, soda and snacks.    Each room has a “magic box” where items can be place for discreet room service.

Beach butlers cater to your every need poolside or in the Oceanfront Cabanas.  Cabanas are plentiful and they are free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis.  The pool is Olympic size.

SPA

The new Zen Spa is one of the highlights of the resort.  Fees for using the state-of-the-art spa is probably the only charge outside of the all-inclusive rates.  The stand-alone hydrotherapy experience is only $25 for a complete program where guests experience both wet and dry saunas, a cold room with timed showers in between and hot and cold pools and is free when combined with any other spa treatment.  The spa has a full beauty salon, as well.

Guests need not leave the resort with the amount of outdoor activities available at the Hyatt Zilara.   Take your pick between non-motorized watersports, scuba school, water volleyball, aqua gym class or cooking demos.
